    FYI, Grand Canyon RR no longer uses steam engines, they use ex-Amtrak F40PH diesels

    In 1831 a young girl snuck out late at night, long after her parents had put her to bed. Not surprisingly, she was missing the next day. 2 years later, . The young girl that had died 2 years ago had been tortured, than stabbed many times on her torso.     We took a train from Rome to Venice. It was wonderful, clean, comfortable, and on time. Plus the italian countryside out the window was very beautiful.

    The Rocky Mountaineer is a great trip, but it does NOT go all the way across Canada and NO train takes 15 days to go across Canada!!!!!!!!!

    Been on the Smoky …
    Been on the Smoky Mountain and Grand Canyon trips, both are very enjoyable. The Grand Canyon Railway sadly no longer uses steam locomotives, and the two owned by the GSMRR are under extensive repair (1702) and restoration (722).

    Lol, I was at a friends house watching TV and his voice came on and I freaked out. And then I just kept yelling, “That’s Peter Greenburg!” And then I looked like a complete idiot. Anyways, it was a very informative show. didn’t know he had his own show. But now I’m hooked!
