Brescia Italy seems to have everything most Italian regions have except in Brescia, there seems to be a bit more of everything
Perhaps because Brescia is located next to the magnificent Lake Garda boasting all kinds of water sports and adventure

Or maybe its because Brescia is only an hour away from Milan, the fashion capital of Italy
Theres more adventure
More sports
More things to see and do
The town is best known for the Mille Miglia ( Mille Miyya) or thousand mile race
But Brescia has cathedrals, museums and frescoed plazas and Roman theater dating from 73 AD
Brescia has a well deserved reputation for culinary excellence

How its look like traveling cross europe country by budget bus or train.
In 10days jumping from one night to night in italy switzerland austria germany netherland.
Where should pass the imigration counter.

I also don’t understand your question but I can tell you that you go through immigration wherever you first land in Europe. And it doesn’t make any difference in which country that might be. Same rules everywhere in EU.

Entry from: Brugge, Belgium
Entry Title: “In Brugge”

Entry:

“After managing to wake up almost on time and getting all our clothes and goodies packed up, we bid farewell to the Backstage Hotel. We headed up the street to the the tram line and stopped at the same bakery we did a few days previous. After ordering some grub for the road, we jumped onto a tram and made our way over to the train station. From there we got our Euro Rail pass validated and our next destination was just a short 3 or so hours away. The trains there were awesome, they showed up and left on time… every time. It was quite the sight to see. When our train pulled up we piled on and began the quick journey south. We had to switch trains at Antwerp, so instead of napping I decided to get caught up on my blogging, which I did with about 4 minutes to spare. On the second train, instead of napping, Josh, Renata, Jordan and I played a few games of Fluxx. It was a good way to waste the train ride, as the next thing I knew we were arriving in the beautiful city of Brugge.

The only thing I knew about Brugge was there was a Colin Farrell movie made here and all I wanted to do was see the tower from the movie. I got to see the tower, but unfortunately we did not arrive early enough to climb to tower. That will have to wait until the next day in Brugge. So we picked a restaurant out on the main square to have some lunch under the watchful eyes of the Belfort Tower. We decided to eat at a place called Un Petite Cafe. I ordered a 1/2 roasted chicken which was delicious. The girls ordered a dish called Chicken Waterzooi which they could not stop raving about. Josh had a big bowl of mussels which I had never tried before, so he kind;y gave me one. I was not a fan. But sea food has never been my thing. However the rabbit that Jordan ordered, was delicious. After that satisfying meal we wandered around the city just marveling at the sights. I have to say Brugge is one beautiful city. I would love to just wander the streets and alleys of the city just losing myself in the history and architecture. It is a beautiful city, from the alleyways to the c****s, I could not get enough of the sights. While just walking up the street, we came across a tour of the city via the c****s. We all decided to just wing it and take the tour as we didn’t think we would have time to do it in the next day. The c**** tour was awesome, we got to see a lot of the cool sights in the city, check below for the pictures and video. I’ve come to realize that I really like brick buildings, they just look amazing to me. The city is so old, or at least built to look old, that it really gives you a feeling of stepping back in time.

After the c**** tour, we wandered around looking for a place to drink the rest of our night away. We were told to hit up a pub called The Celtic, and since local advice (is that the right one Al?) has served us well so far, off we went. It was an alright pub nothing special really. It didn’t seem very busy, but service was pretty slow. The beers were delicious, but thats not the pubs fault :) We did have a few of them, however, The beer of the night was Chimay. It is a darker beer, but as I am quickly learning over here, dark does not mean Guinness. Just cause its dark doesn’t mean its a stout. I have quite enjoyed more then one dark beer over here, the Belgium’s really know how to make beer. Nothing really exciting happened while we were there, so that was kind of a let down, however we did discover that Renata sure loves playing with candle wax. Never let her near a candle if you want it to survive the night. After leaving the pub we decided to …”

I am traveling to Europe for my first time but despite being advised that travel by train was inexpensive, I have found that passes (from websites like this one: http://www.eurail.com/home) are costly and VERY restrictive in terms of when I can travel.
Since I am budget backpacking, I like the idea of just being able to drift around as I please. These rail passes require me to have planned what countries I want to visit and what days I need to take the train, which I just wont know of until I am there.
What I am still unclear of, is how much does it actually cost to just pay for each leg of the trip as it comes? In other words, are single one-time transit tickets on train reasonably priced?

It depends on the specific trip you’re taking; it is often, but not always, cheaper to buy individual tickets. There is a great website for train travel here: http://www.seat61.com/ . this explains in much more detail than there is here how to determine if a railpass is worth the money for your trip or not, how to select the right railpass for you if it is, and how to use it. There are links to the various national train sites where you can find schedules and prices for individual tickets.

You don’t need to know specific dates and times for travel before you go. You do need to have an idea of how many days you’ll want to be using the trains. The railpass is more likely to be useful if you’re traveling spontaneously and can’t buy tickets in advance to take advantage of discounts on individual tickets for early purchase. There’s always the global pass which covers all the included countries if you don’t have any idea of the countries you want to visit. You need to know that even with a railpass, there are many trains where you need to make reservations and pay an additional fee – some high speed trains, most international trains and night trains. With the slower regional trains, you can just use the railpass without an additional fee.

Here in Italy, it is almost never worth having a pass because the fares are still relatively low and the supplemental fees are relatively high (10 euro on the fast trains).

There are also many budget airlines operating here which can be cheaper and more efficient for long trips. a good site for checking available options is: http://www.skyscanner.net/
