Me and my husband wish to travel to europe in january via train, we have never travelled by train. Also where is it best to go to for hot weather in january.
Take the Eurostar from Waterloo Station, to Gare Du Nord Paris. Being in Coventry, I imagine that you would take VirginRail or First Great Western, to London? In January, your best bet would be Mallorca or the south coast of Spain. Sicily is nice at that time of the year.
There are untold numbers of online sites to help with travel arrangements.
First Great Western primarily uses Paddington Station, so you would have to take a taxi to Waterloo. I don’t know the particulars about transferring baggage from one station to another.
My thanks to the wanker below for thumbing me down. When I saw no one answering this lady I took a shot. But living in the shadow of New York City doesn’t allow me the latest info on UK rails. Should you ever need info about US rail travel, don’t ask me, as I’m sure that your standards are far more precise than mine could ever be.
